My world had been encapsulated by the fragments. My broken bones were scattered all around me. I felt a dull and persistent sting in my chest.
I was left hoping to find the serenity I once knew.
But I needed your warmth. I desired it. My body ached for it.
My words undressed me from head to toe, and left me bare and exposed.
The moonlit walls kept me company. The night was young and all I had now was the memory of a melancholic shadow. It watched me as I tried to sleep. I continued to feel beside myself as I laid awake in the dark thinking of you.
Because I ached for it. My heart yearned for it. My mind craved it. I desired it, completely. I was caught in the absolute chaos of longing for you.
